M87 Pro uses an 87-key layout with only the number pad removed, so hands coming from an office membrane keyboard find everything where they expect it, and for under 50,000 KRW it includes a gasket mount, hot-swap sockets, and tri-mode connectivity. The plate rests on gaskets, and five layers of dampening material fill the case. This reduces the hollow ring common to plastic cases, leaving a lower, firmer sound. The plate is polycarbonate (PC), which feels softer than an aluminum plate.
The PCB has hot-swap sockets, so switches can be replaced without soldering. It ships with KTT Coconut linear switches, which are light and smooth with no tactile bump. The keycaps are double-shot PBT, so legends do not wear off and the surface does not turn shiny with use.
